View Statistics

The View Statistics selector allows for users to browse through historic network data. When first viewing statistics, a data source, such as a Monitor or Group, needs to be selected.

This is performed by the two specialized lists:

  • Select by Server
  • Select by Group
These two options allow for displaying all configured monitors organized either by the server it is associated with, or by the group it is contained in. The later option, Select by Group, allows for reporting based on a group of monitors, instead of an individual Monitor.

Both lists contain a bank of radio buttons which help to select the desired report type:

  • Availability Report
  • Diagnostic Report
  • Downtime Report
  • Health Report
  • Response Time Report
  • Trouble Report
More detailed information about these reports and their configuration is available in the Reports section titled pre-configured reports (types).

Each listed item has a "view" option. The view option immediately constructs the selected pre-configured report and displays it within ipMonitor's web based interface. To perform immediate customization of the current report, the Change Report option is available.

Note:   Immediate customization includes changing the active time selection, report style, detail level, and various display adjustments.
