( annotated )
Monitor Status: Summary is a break down showing the present state of all monitor Groups.

A Group is a collection of configured monitors including a list of any monitors that the entire group is dependent upon to function.

The "Global (All Monitors)" Group contains all the monitors configured in ipMonitor.

The state of each group is determined by the state of both the monitors that are in the group, and the monitors that the group is dependent upon to function. The entire group inherits the most critical state of all relevant monitors.

State of Monitors and Groups are displayed as follows:

Color Comment
Green Green indicates positive, available, and responsive
Yellow Yellow indicates a failure or performance degradation pattern is forming.
Red Red indicates a failure or performance degradation pattern has formed. Alerting and recovery actions are occurring.
Dark Red Dark Red indicates a state where although the monitored resources require maintenance, ipMonitor is configured to ignore subsequent failures.
Gray Gray indicates that all relevant monitors are; disabled, in a maintenance cycle, haven't completed an initial test, or not applicable.
