Starting and Stopping ipMonitor Service

ipMonitor runs as an NT Service. The following instructions will start and stop the ipMonitor service on both Windows NT and Windows 2000.

Note:   You must have administrative priviledges to execute these commands.

Starting ipMonitor:

  1. From the Start Menu, select "Run"
  2. Type in "cmd.exe" (click OK)
  3. Type in "NET START IPMONITOR" (press Enter)

Stopping ipMonitor:

  1. From the Start Menu, select "Run"
  2. Type in "cmd.exe" (click OK)
  3. Type in "NET STOP IPMONITOR" (press Enter)
