ipMonitor offers several pre-defined types of Reports that can easily be generated through the use of the Report Generator. The following is a list of the different types of Reports and the information they provide.
Availability Report
This Report Type shows the availability of the selected Monitors or Group during the defined time period. Availability measures the time during which the monitored resources responded properly, taking into consideration any time for which the Monitor was disabled.
Diagnostic Report
This Report Type includes information from the "Availability" and "Downtime" reports, as well as information on the number and type of each Monitor's failures. If reporting on multiple Monitors, all Reports for each Monitor will be grouped together.
Downtime Report
This Report Type shows the non-availability of the selected Monitors or Group during the defined time period. Downtime measures the time during which the monitored resources either did not respond properly, or did not respond within the given time limits. This Report also takes into consideration any time for which the Monitor was disabled.
Health Report
This Report Type consolidates information from the "Availability", "Downtime" and "Response Time" Report types. If reporting on multiple Monitors, all three Report types for each Monitor will be grouped together.
Response Time Report
This Report Type shows the response time per test for the selected Monitors or Group during the defined time period. Response time is averaged for each block of time in the report. Response time measures the length of time a monitored resource took to respond to the Monitor and whether a proper response was given or not. Response time takes into consideration any time for which the Monitor was disabled.
Trouble Report
This Report Type covers all the information of the "Health" Report type, and includes information on the number and type of each Monitor's failures. If reporting on multiple Monitors, all Reports for each Monitor will be grouped together.
