When creating a Report, these additional Options are available. These Options will affect what information is included in the Report, and how it is displayed.
Include historical trend analysis
This option will include projected information for comparison with the active information. ipMonitor performs a historical query and then compares the collected information with the active information. This projected information will then be displayed as either a degradation, or an increase in performance for each interval.
Detailed reporting
If this option is not enabled, ipMonitor will attempt to remove long and extremely detailed charts, providing a more concise report.
Create a hyperlinked index
This option will include an index at the beginning of the Report with links to each section of the Report. This will provide easier access if the report is to be viewed through a web browser.
Designed for black and white printers
This option will assign grayscales to all of the colored elements in the Report, making the report easy to display.
Graph Style
This option will determine whether the default graph style is 3D or 2D.
Fixed (non-interactive display mode)
This option will remove the display options from the graphs making the report available only in the default style.
Selecting a data source
When configuring the Report, you have the option of basing the Report on one of the following:
a) a predefined group of monitors
b) an individual monitor
c) several selected monitors
Reports based on a single Group will show totals for the Group and compare individual Monitors within the same graph or table. Reports on multiple Monitors will show totals for each Monitor and display each Monitor within its own graph and table.
