After a query is performed to define a selection set with common characteristics, time saving actions can be performed on the monitors in the set.
You can visit the results of your last query at any time by selecting "Last Query" from the sidebar menu.
The following actions can be applied to all monitors:
- Set a field to a specified value.
- Set a field to a specified value, provided that it is equal to a specified value.
- Change any occurrence of a value in a specified field to another value.
ie: change "10.10.10." to "10.10.23."
- Move to a specified group.
- Delete from ipMonitor.
The network scan feature will import a large number of monitors in minutes. The Query feature is very useful after scanning a network range to categorize and store monitors into appropriate groups.
