Monitor List
< BackIndexNext >

Monitors are used to watch the server software used to keep critical Intranets, Extranets, and E-commerce solutions available and responsive. When failures and performance degradations occur, monitors trigger alert and/or recovery actions.

The Monitor List shows all configured Monitors by Type and Name, and indicates if each is disabled or enabled. On larger enterprises with many Monitors, the Monitor List may be slow to generate as a result of table calculations the Web Browser must perform to render the page for display. In this case it is recommended that the Monitor Query interface be used to select the individual Monitor or a subset of Monitors rather than the entire list. To enable this option, check "Enforce Search Page" located on the "Site Settings" page.
