![]() ![]() ipMonitor watches over your important network resources to ensure their availability and responsiveness. It does this by regularly monitoring the state of application servers, switches, routers, TCP/IP services, Windows NT® Services, and machines on the network. This is performed via over 40 different monitor types, including 10 Quality Assurance (QA) monitors which use detailed transactions to ensure quality of service. In the event of failure, an alert by pager, beeper, email, network broadcast, automatic trouble report, and/or logging event (text, Windows NT® Event Log) is triggered. ipMonitor also supports two recovery alerts that can be used to repair problems. First a 3rd party application can be spawned in order to pass alerting off to external software. Second a recovery script can be used to restart the service or application and reboot the device or machine if required.
