History Events Reporting

The "History Events" log reports all events recorded by ipMonitor. Events are listed chronologically from oldest to newest.

History Events Data logged - Each log entry reports the following information.

Column Title Comment
Date/Time The date of the log event and the time in 24 hour format
Monitor Name This is the name given to the Monitor at time of creation trimmed to 18 characters for display.
Note: CSV exports contain the full name up to 63 characters.
Action Reports any Action taken by the ipMonitor. See Actions Taken by ipMonitor for a list of all possible Actions.
Last Status Reports the status of the Monitor at the time the Action was logged. See Status Comments Reported for a list of all possible Last Status reports.
Extra Info  Extra Info logs the Profile names for each Alert it attempts.

Actions taken by ipMonitor - All possible Actions taken by the ipMonitor and their meaning are listed below.

Action Comment
Notify ipMonitor will Notify on behalf of a Monitor. Each Profile tethered to the notifying monitor will be checked. If Alerts are scheduled they will be processed otherwise they will be skipped.

Additional Status Comments Reported by ipMonitor - All possible Status comments reported by the ipMonitor and their meaning are listed below.

Status Comment
Processing Profile Trying all configured Alerts.
Skipping Profile This Profile is not configured to watch for this Monitor so it is being skipped.
Processing Alert Alert named in "Extra Info" column is scheduled for this time and processed.
Skipping Alert Alert named in "Extra Info" column is not scheduled for this time.
