Help System

ipMonitor has two integrated Help Systems. Both are accessible from the button bar located at the top of the ipMonitor web interface:
"Inline Help" is toggled on or off by selecting the "? On" -or- "? Off" option on the ipMonitor button bar. Turning on Inline Help inserts help for each option directly into the wizard interface. This puts help where you need it when you want it.
Clicking the "Help" button located on the ipMonitor button bar opens this online help to the section corresponding to the dialog box you have open.

Search Book

ipMonitor includes an indexing feature that allows you to search the contents of the entire help system.

Search queries can contain a number of keywords or exact phrases.

  • An exact phrase is contained within a set of (") double quotes
  • A keyword is a single word or a wildcard pattern using (*) or (?)

    Control the list of search results with an indicator.

  • Attach a (-) in front of the keyword or phrase that must not appear in the results
  • Attach a (+) in front of the keyword or phrase that must appear in the results

    i.e.: "windows nt" and perm*
