 Now that ipMonitor has been installed it's time to put the software to work. This section uses the "Things to do" list displayed by ipMonitor when it is first installed to help you create a Monitor, create a Profile, configure & schedule an Alert and test your configuration. You will also be introduced to the Scan Network Wizard that will locate all the servers and services on your network that can be monitored by ipMonitor. If you did not start the ipMonitor NT Service (ipmonitor) at time of installation, you will be required to start it before proceeding. If required, you may refer to the following sections explaining how to start the ipMonitor NT Service and connect to the ipMonitor server from your Web Browser. |
