The ipMonitor Configuration interface is used to control when and how SQL databases, IP devices, NT Services and servers on your network are probed as well as what actions will be taken in the event of a problem, including who in your organization will respond to the alert.

To carry out the rather complex task of ipMonitoring with precision and flexibility, the following features are built into ipMonitor.

  • A total of 42 different monitors.
  • 25 different standard network protocols covered.
  • 10 monitors designed for Windows NT (2 specifically for Windows 2000).
  • 9 transaction based monitors to ensure Quality of Service.
  • Job scheduling for system maintenance.
  • Reports on network performance and availability analysis.

  • Multi-person scheduling with 15 minute granularity.
